Dr Flaminia Purchiaroni is a gastroenterologist and GI endoscopist who improved her skills and knowledge at Wolfson Unit for Endoscopy-St Mark’s Hospital in London, the only endoscopic unit in the UK to achieve international recognition as a centre of excellence for endoscopy research and training. She holds a licence to practice as a specialized doctor both in Italy (Ordine dei medici di Roma) and in the UK (General Medical Council).

She graduated cum laude in 2009 at Policlinico Gemelli and specialized cum laude in gastroenterology and GI endoscopy at Sapienza University of Rome in 2016. In 2020 she obtained her PhD in “Clinical, cellular and molecular research in GI endoscopy” at Policlinico Gemelli in Rome.
